Staying on his steady grind of creating and releasing, Thaddeus David is keeping his raps in your ears with his new project Apprentice that flaunts a smooth flow and keen ear for mellow, laid back beats.
Featuring a lush array of sounds, the listener will not be confused as to why these tracks had to see the light of day. While they were culled from the Maven sessions, they should not be viewed as mere throw aways as Thad continues to grow as artist with clever insights and his keen awareness connecting ideas throughout the six songs.
Apprentice includes the previously released songs “Big Smooth” and “Jones” that gives one an indication of the mellow type of beat in which Thaddeus shines on. Jester, Kuddie Fresh, and DJ Semaj provide some instrumentals that will leave the listener smiling and jiving for days to come.
